Progressive Celebration 2004!
Remembering and Renewing Rochester’s Progressive Social Movements
Where: Edgerton Community Center — 41 Backus Street
Tentative Schedule: Event begins at 6:00pm
Potluck Dinner—Please bring a dish to pass. As a rule of thumb prepare enough for at least four fo six people.
Introduction by Alison Clarke & performance by Edgerton Step Team
Performance by Charlie King & Karen Brandow
Panel #1: Prominent local female, labor & environmental activists will recollect successful actions in the local progressive movement interspersed with songs by Charlie and Karen.
Dessert! The program will pause to give people a chance to mix & mingle around informational tables hosted by individual sponsoring organizations. Each sponsoring organization will offer a different dessert. Yum.

Rousing musical send-off for bus riders heading to NYC to protest the first anniversary of the US invasion & occupation of Iraq. Buses are leaving from the MCC parking lot. Many riders will be attending this celebration).
